A few sites that have what is called ‘flash fiction’ — ie, short stuff that is, as it were, written ‘in a flash’. Also called microfiction. Hey, I could write this sort of thing.
We’ve found all of these useful at one time or another, but DaFont is the one we use the mostest.
I like Football Poets especially. Brings pomes [sic] back to the people, unlike that impenetrable stuff that Browning bloke used to churn out.

I mean, just how many Quotations pages do you really need, eh? Answer me that. And in any case, if in doubt about a disputed quote, just attribute it to Oscar Wilde. Works every time.
My latent interest in knots has finally come to the surface. Not that I have much use for a lot of them unless I suddenly win a yacht in a competition and have to learn how to moor it properly. Maybe I’m subconsciously compensating for not having been a member of the Scouts when I was younger. Whatever, here’s some brilliant knotty links with loads of useful stuff on them:
